Join the Global Conservation Corps for a screening of the new documentary, Rhino Man!
RHINO MAN tells the story of brave rangers on the front lines of the rhino poaching war in South Africa. On average, South Africa loses 3 rhinos a day, and it is only because of these rangers that the numbers aren't much higher. Becoming a conservation ranger is a grueling 5-day selection process where only the most determined individuals make it through. RHINO MAN follows 41 candidates through this process and goes behind-the-scenes into the lives of these courageous individuals by following a lead ranger and his team, meeting his family, and learning about his vision to conserve Africa's iconic wildlife. The film encounters poachers, potentially dangerous wildlife, and an ever-growing community who demand more equity in wildlife ownership. As rhinos and other endangered wildlife edge closer to extinction, RHINO MAN portrays the vital importance field rangers play in the poaching war and how the world needs to get behind these heroes before it's too late.
